This Privacy Policy explains how Elaynetech (“Elaynetech”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and protects your personal information when you visit https://marketplace.elaynetech.com/ (the “Marketplace”) or purchase our software products. It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
- Account details – name, email address, phone number and password (stored as a one-way hash) when you create an account or sign in with Google or Envato.
- Billing details – billing address, country, state, city, PIN code and GST number (optional) for generating tax invoices.
- Order details – products purchased, licenses, installation packages, currency, amounts and transaction identifiers.
- Payment information – payments are processed by Razorpay (and other PCI-DSS compliant gateways). We never receive or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials.
- Support & inquiries – messages, server or hosting details and files you choose to share with us for installation, customization or support.
- Technical data – IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and cookies used to keep you logged in, remember your cart and currency, and measure site performance.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and deliver purchased source code downloads.
- To process payments, issue GST-compliant invoices and prevent fraud.
- To provide installation, customization and technical support, and to send product update notifications.
- To respond to inquiries, service requests and grievances.
- To send transactional emails (order confirmation, download links, invoices). Marketing emails are sent only with your consent and you may opt out at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting laws in India.
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:
- Payment gateways (Razorpay, Stripe) to complete your transaction.
- Service providers such as hosting, email delivery and analytics providers, bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities when required by law, court order or to protect our legal rights.
4. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies (login session, cart, selected currency) and optional analytics cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may prevent checkout from working.
5. Data retention
Account and order records are retained for as long as your account is active and thereafter for the period required under Indian tax and accounting laws (currently 8 years for invoices). Support conversations are retained for up to 3 years. You may request deletion of your account; order and invoice records that we are legally required to keep will be retained in anonymised form where possible.
6. Security
We use SSL/TLS encryption, hashed passwords, access controls and regular backups. Purchased files are delivered through expiring, account-bound download links. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and you are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
7. Your rights
You may access, correct or update your details from My Account → Settings at any time. You may also request a copy of your data, withdraw consent for marketing, or ask us to delete your account by writing to info@elaynetech.com. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.
8. Children
The Marketplace is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. International users
Your data is stored and processed in India. By using the Marketplace from outside India you consent to this transfer.
